Text Box: The River Bluffs birdseed sale will have some changes this year, thanks to Birds-I-View, which is co-sponsoring the sale. As in the past, you need to fill out an order form and return it to Barbara Duncan at 1918 London Way, Jefferson City, MO 65109. The order form is attached to this newsletter and you can MAKE COPIES OF IT for your friends and relatives. Send in all orders by September 22, 2006. However, one change is that birdseed orders will be picked up at Birds-I-View on Saturday, October 14, 2006. If you cannot be there, arrangements can be made to have seed delivered, but it is Text Box: better if you can come to Birds-I-View because River Bluffs Audubon will receive a percentage on other items that are sold at the store that day. This is a big change! You can go shopping and help the chapter! It is your chance to get a new bird feeder or other items. Tell your friends to come on October 14th! Birds-I-View has also donated a door prize to be given in a drawing for people who join River Bluffs Audubon chapter that day. The birdseed sale has been the chapter’s main fund-raiser during the year. It Text Box: enables us to do special projects, such as supporting Jim and Julie Lundsted in maintaining their tree swallow houses at Binder Lake and purchasing supplies for presentations like at Camp Wokka Wokka. Another purple martin house is needed at McKay Lake and there are some other good projects the chapter could undertake.
