Learn bird watching basics and beyond from expert Brad Jacobs at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 14 at Runge Conservation Nature Center.

      If you want to become more skilled at birdwatching, this program's for you! Jacobs is author of Birds in Missouri and ornithologist for Missouri Conservation Department.

      He will talk about birds and habitat; bird identification by sight, voice and behavior; birding equipment and books,

and places to find birds.

      His information-filled program will be followed by

the first business and planning  meeting for the River Bluff Audubon Society 2006-2007 season.

Text Box: First Annual Missouri Bluebird Society Conference will be held Saturday, September 9 at Runge Conservation Nature Center.
	Registration fee includes bird walk, seminars and lunch. Cost is $12 for society members or $15 for nonmembers. Reservation forms are available at Runge, Birds-I-View store or online at www.missouribluebird.org
