Jim Rathert has done lots of things in his lifetime - and we probably don’t know half of them - but one thing he has certainly done is call attention to birds.

    His beautiful photos have made countless people stop and think about birds. And many people have certainly come to appreciate birds even more because of Jim’s photos.

    Most people know that Jim spent more than 20 years as a wildlife photographer for the Missouri Department of Conservation. One of the most amazing things about Jim’s pictures of birds is that they tell a story. 

      Jim has been a member of the River Bluffs Audubon chapter for many years.  And he has willingly contributed by
