Text Box: Some Audubon chapters produce TV programs for their local public access channels as a means of promoting birding and conservation. Are you interested in helping RBAS put such a show together?
	Cable-access people at JCTV are willing to assist, but say it takes four to six dedicated volunteers who are willing to learn. A person from JCTV suggested producing one Text Box: Opportunities for You to Help Audubon

Are you interested in helping increase local awareness of birds and their conservation throughout the Western Hemisphere? Consider organizing Cole County’s International Migratory Bird Count on Saturday, May 10th.

      Before you enjoy a day of counting, the organizer will advertise in this newsletter, get people to attend, and set the meeting time and location. Once  the species and numbers of birds in the county are gathered you submit data either online, by fax or mail.

Text Box: Want to Put a TV Show Together?
Text Box: show every three months and volunteered to help with our first productions. We could shoot in the field, which would be naturally interesting, and use the studio for opening and closing segments.
	RBAS has numerous options for formats and locations that would help us show what birding and RBAS is all about, but it can’t be done without some committed volunteers.
	So, if there’s any interest out there, please let me know in the next two weeks. You can e-mail dan.reed
@hotmail.com and get more information.
