How to Join:

Members of the National Audubon Society in the central Missouri counties of Callaway, Cole, Maries, Moniteau are automatically members of the River Bluffs Chapter. Members receive Audubon magazine,"the world's most beautiful magazine." For a first-time membership, print a copy of the membership form (word doc) and send it with a $20 check (payable to the National Audubon Society) to:

River Bluffs Audubon Society
Attn: Membership Chair
P.O. Box 2336
Jefferson City, Missouri 65102

For repeat memberships, send a check for $35. Your name will be placed on our local mailing list and forwarded to the National Audubon Society for processing. For more information regarding the River Bluffs Audubon Society, you may contact Celeste via e-mail or by phone at (573) 636-5993.

Monthly Program and Membership Meetings:

The River Bluffs Audubon Society meets at 7:00 pm on the second Thursday of each month from September to May at the Runge Nature Center on Hwy 179 one half mile north of Hwy 50 in Jefferson City, Missouri.  Guest speakers discuss birds, wildlife, the habitat which supports them, and other environmental issues.  The public is welcome at these interesting and educational meetings.  The program meetings are followed by socializing and a general membership meeting.  See The Timberdoodle or the calendar for details.  Members are also welcome to attend the chapter board meetings.  Contact the chapter president for more information.

Save paper, save trees on your renewal

Instead of receiving multiple renewal notices in the mail, members of the National Audubon Society can now call 800-274-4201 and ask to sign up for Audubon's Paper-free Renewal Program.

Those who sign up will have their membership automatically renewed each year, and will simply receive one bill approximately two months in advance of their membership expiration date.

River Bluffs members should indicate our chapter number, which is NO9-7XCH. This will help ensure that a share of the national dues is returned to the chapter.
